Rev.
Jean (Emogene) Moorman Brindel, has been appointed to the new
Development Office for North Indiana Conference of the United
Methodist Church. She has been assigned to the camping ministry
to raise funds to rebuild Epworth Forest. The Development
Office's task will be to raise $22 million over the next 2
years.
The
announcement of our classmate's appointment to this prestigious
position included this important information:
"In
recognition of the 50th anniversary of full clergy right for
women, the Rev. Jean Brindel, preached at the memorial
service. Brindel was the first woman ordained and made a
full clergy member of the conference in 1977. Currently,
there are 163 women in ministry in North Indiana including
two district superintendents."
Congratulations,
Jean! The Class of 1967 is proud of your accomplishments!

Rumor has it that Jerry has been observing the teachings of Hindu
Holy Men as they practice the art of water walking in Kathmandu.
Although he had given up hope of finding the famous musician, as
luck would have it, Jerry mastered the water walking while being
cheered on by an envious Bob Seger. |
